CELEBRATION OF LIFE
Nancy attended Manassas High School and graduated with the Class of 1962. She accepted Christ at an early age, at Keel Avenue Baptist Church, where she was a member, until God led her to Millington, Tennessee. She was hired in 1980 as a nursery attendant at The Apostolic Church, formerly known as First United Pentecostal Church of Millington. On a Sunday evening five years later, God touched her heart and she came out of the nursery, made her way to the altar and God filled her with the Holy Ghost and she was baptized in Jesus Name (June 16, 1985). From then on she lived her life as a true warrior for the Lord. Nancy was a faithful member of TAC for over 30 years. She was a great witness, anointed singer, and powerful prayer warrior. She was devoted to Prison Ministry for over 24 years. She was a loving mother and the greatest “Granny.” You’ve heard the statement “My cup runneth over”. Well, Nancy’s cup was always more than full and running over with love and compassion for her family and church family. A kind smile and hug is how she greeted you. Her goal was to win as many souls and impact lives as God did with hers before making Heaven her eternal home. It is evident that is what she did. We trust that Nancy has finished her race and won the Ultimate Prize, “Heaven”, and to hear God say, “Well done thy good and faithful servant.”
